2026-2027 School Year

UCSD is looking for a person wth the skills outlined below and whose professional values include teamwork, community, a commitment to learning, unity and integrity.

  • Roles/Responsibilities Include:

    • Daily maintenance of both school buildings (doors, lights, water, alarms, boilers, HVAC, security, etc.)

    • Seasonal Work (winter snow removal, summer yard work)

    • Pick up and deliver mail and freight

    • Periodic maintenance of all vehicles and equipment

    • Repairs of school equipment, as needed

    • Participation in all required trainings

    • Student Transportation

      • Organize routes and Drivers

      • Drives routes when necessary

      • Organize and/or perform maintenance of student transportation and district vehicles

      • Inspect vehicles for safety

  • Job Details

    • 12-month employee

    • Hours: Weekdays 8+ hrs/day

    • Salary: $21.69 - $41.10/hour (based upon the classified salary schedule)

    • Benefits include 7 paid annual holidays, vacation leave accrual, health insurance, and enrollment in Alaska Public Employees Retirement System (PERS)
