Congratulations to Ms. Juanita Alvarez, our April/May Beacon Award Winner.  Ms. Juanita has invested 20 years with UCSD as our Eagle's View Elementary School custodian.  As one student explained, "Ms. Juanita is the best because every morning she says Happy Friday and after lunch she cleans the tables and the floors."  Other students say that she .... "is kind", "always says hello", "always makes our class neat and clean" and "she cleans up the whole school."

This will be our last Beacon Award of the year.  Thank you to the 210 people who took the time to recognize a staff for being a Beacon of Light and congratulations to every one of the 210 nominees whose efforts were noticed.  It is a year worth celebrating!
