Congratulations to Emo (Guillermo) Ellorin, our February Beacon Award Winner! Emo has invested the past 22 years with UCSD as our custodian, working hard every day to make sure our school is clean and safe. As one nominee said, "Emo cares so much for this school and does anything we ask! Early January, on a Friday evening, we called to see if he could come back and help with a broken pipe. Within 5 min, he was hustling into the school, getting the carpet machine and helping us save the room from real damage! That is teamwork! “
