Maintenance Assistant
Job Description: Part-time permanent 12-month position. Examples of responsibilities include helping with:
Maintenance repairs (may include work in the areas of construction, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc)
Preventative Maintenance (automotive, boiler checks, building walkthroughs, etc)
Summer grounds keeping
Winter snow removal
Deliveries
Job Requirements:
Prefer experience in a variety of maintenance areas described above
Motivation to learn
Ability to work with others
Schedule and Compensation:
Start Date: June 1, 2026
20-25 hours/week (4-5 hrs/day)
Start Time/End Time: flexible times
$21.06-$39.91 based upon related experience, training and education
Enrollment in the State of Alaska Public Employee Retirement System (PERS)
