Congratulations to Ms. Kaye Forfieda as our November Beacon Award Winner!  Ms. Forfieda has been with UCSD for 4 years as our 6-9th grade science teacher.  In this role, she consistently engages students in various projects as a way for them to demonstrate their curiosity, learning and creativity.  An anonymous person nominated Ms. Forfieda for this award because "she is my role model and works hard towards her goals, as well as for her students to learn more about the importance of Science."
