I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new principal of Eagle’s View Elementary. Unalaska has been part of my journey since the beginning. My family lived here during the first three years of my life before we moved back to Wisconsin where I lived through college. I pursued my passion for education at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, where I played baseball and majored in Elementary Education. After graduating, I returned to Unalaska and spent eight years teaching third and fourth grades, during which time I developed a deep appreciation for the collaborative and diverse culture of this dynamic city. In 2021, I received a masters degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Alaska Southeast. In my free time, you can find me enjoying all that Unalaska has to offer with my wife, Jill and our dog Benji.
As principal, I am committed to ensuring a welcoming environment for all students as they pursue individual passions along their unique journeys of personal growth. Our team is dedicated to providing the necessary support, resources, and encouragement to empower students as they persevere through life’s challenges. We will utilize Unalaska’s rich community as a springboard for hands-on learning experiences that will collectively anchor the foundation of our learners.
