Church in the Shadows

    The young Nancy grew up on a 200-acre estate near Suffern, New York.  Her greatest pleasures were wandering through the meadows and up in the hills, camping out, reading, sketching, and studying wildlife.  She thinks this made her more comfortable with being alone in the middle of nowhere. Art was important to her as well as her other dream of becoming a scientist.
