Glass Mask

    Char Vowell lived a busy life for 18 years in Dutch Harbor/Unalaska as a seal hunter, a mother, and as a registered nurse.  When she left, and became a commercial glass carver, she felt as though she wanted to "give something back to Unalaska."  The sandblasted glass mask in the Unalaska school collection is a result of that desire
