Cannery Life

   Born in San Francisco and raised primarily in Portland, Oregon, Carolyn studied at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington and the Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland.  She received a Bachelors of Fine Art degree in 1987, after moving from a music and art program to a graphic design oriented program and finally to drawing.  Shortly after, her collegiate work culminated with a thesis exhibition in the Portland Art Museum. Carolyn had her first show at Nicky's Place in Unalaska.
