Student Assistance Team (SAT)

The Student Assistance Team is designed to help students who are struggling in school. The problems they deal with, range from poor behavior in the halls or classrooms, bad grades, lost credits, illness, family issues, slow progress.

The Core members of the Student Assistance Team are the school counselor, who also serves as the SAT coordinator, Principals, an elementary teacher, and a secondary teacher. Other members can be called in when their expertise is required (social services, law enforcement, other teachers, etc.).

Students can be referred to the team by themselves, their parents, or a teacher.
