Glencoe: An integrated Transition to Algebra and Geometry

Pre-Algebra is intended for students with exemplary math skills and an interest in Math. This is a challenging course where students must be self-motivated and willing to discover and learn about the world of mathematics. Students will be engaged in activities that require them to perform operations (with integers, rational numbers, ratios, proportions, percents, square roots, radicals, equations, and inequalities) and apply properties. Pre-Algebra implements the shift in perspective from just manipulative skills to a broader curriculum that is integrated and reflects the virtual nature of mathematics.
