Mr. Haskins has been teaching for over 13 years. He received his teaching degree, in Industrial Arts/Tech Ed. From Western Montana College located in Dillon, Montana. In 1992, he started teaching in Boardman, Oregon; where he taught many traditional Voc. Ed. classes, while integrating new technology classes. Along with teaching, Mr. Haskins was the girls basketball assistant coach. In 1994, he returned to Montana to work in the private sector, teaching computer classes to the public and private companies. In 1996, Mr. Haskins decided he missed the classroom so he applied for a job in Hamilton, Montana where he taught for 3 years while coaching basketball and track & field. After deciding it was a time for a change, Mr. Haskins and his family packed up and moved to Alaska. Where he currently is teaching at Unalaska City School District |
