Who is Miss Leu?

Miss Cathy Leu was born in Bryan, Ohio, a small town in Northwest Ohio. During college, she worked summers at Ohio Art, the company that created the ever so popular, Etch-a-Sketch. She didn't particularly enjoy working at Ohio Art, since it was very hot in the factory, and the work was very monotonous.
After graduating from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio, with a degree in Christian Staff Work and Sociology, she moved to Oregon. After Miss Leu moved to Oregon, she worked on a teaching degree. After obtaining a teaching degree, she taught in a Wasco, a small community in North Central Oregon, for 4 years. Next she taught in Yamhill, a small community southwest of Portland.
In 1983, Miss Leu took her first trip to Alaska. From that point in time, she returned to Alaska every few years. In 1994, she obtained a job in Point Hope, where she taught for 5 years. She has also taught in Buckland for 3 years, and Kotzebue.
Miss Leu is now the 5th/6th grade teacher at Unalaska City School. Miss Leu is excited to be in Unalaska and thinks that it's beautiful here. She especially likes the wonderful birds found in this area and the great people who live here.
