Language Arts
Students will learn basic concepts in grammar and punctuation. They will also obtain experience with various types of writing ranging from creative to technical. Also students will also practice reading skills through making connections and Literature Circles.

Math
Students will review skills they have previously acquired from 4th and 5th grade while learning new strategies which will help them with math problems in the future. They will also begin to start getting a taste of algebra.
