Mrs. Heather Beard grew up in Corunna, Michigan. She attended Central Michigan
University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.She
taught seventh grade Language Arts at Breckenridge Middle School in Breckenridge,
Michigan and began her Masters of Public Administration at University of
Michigan-Flint. After five years of teaching at the middle school level,
she and her husband moved to Alaska in 2006. Mrs. Beard is married to Jason Beard and has one daughter, Jennah. Her hobbies consist of spending time with her husband and her daughter,reading, hiking, biking, enjoying the Alaskan scenery, writing and talking to family and friends, watching TV and movies, and sleeping or relaxing. Her favorite foods are pretty much anything sweet. |
