University of Alaska Honors program Graduates from this program have received significant scholarships to attend some of the most prestigious MD, Ph.D. and Masters programs in the nation. To learn more about the Honors program and to obtain an application, visit the UAA website at www.uaa.alaska.edu

"APICDA Higher Education Scholarship" This scholarship is available to all seniors and application packets must be submitted by July 15, 2006 for full academic year funding. Scholarship amount is up to $5,000 and applicants will need to make an appointment with Harriet Berrikoff to review the scholarship application upon completion. Deadline: July 15, 2006

Grants and Emergency Financial Assistance offered by Edward and Anna Range Schmidt Charitable Trust is aimed at students and programs in sciences, especially earth and environmental sciences. Alaska Natives and other minorities are strongly urged to apply. Applications may be made any time by letter from a sponsor who may be a teacher, advisor or other adult, familiar with grant applicant's situation. Please see Ms. LaGrand or Mrs. Stubbe for application.

Any College.net is becoming one of the most widely used college search resources on the internet today The database contains more than 5500 institutions of higher learning. Any college.net also offers scholarships that are given away randomly to college bound students regardless of GPA or test scores. Students simply need to go to www.anycollege.net and click "Win a Scholarship" button on the home page. Fill out a short application, submit, and you are automatically registered to win a $1000 scholarship given away on a quarterly basis.

Scholarships.com is a free scholarship search site. In addition to a scholarship search, students will also find an abundance of financial aid and loan information to help them through college.
