The tradition of Raider Basketball continued this year with 18 players participating throughout the year in order to improve their skills and competitive level. This proved to be on of the most competitive teams in recent memory for the Raiders. They finished the year with a 8-8 record including a 2nd place finish at the Husky Shootout in Kotzebue and a 4th place finish at Regionals. Coach Wilson and Coach Gregory worked hard to stress fundamentals and team play throughout the season which resulted in a dramatic improvement as the year progressed. This years team says good-bye to 4 seniors; Isaac, Andrew, Joe and Richard, all of whom have worked very hard on behalf of Raider Basketball over the previous 4 years. The team however is looking forward to next year's returning players and their commitment to helping to continue to build Raider Basketball.
