Rachel
The Junior High Department selected Rachel as Student of the Week for the following reasons:

  • Rachel is an outstanding student in American History. The quality of her work is unmatched in the junior high. All assignments and projects are completed to the very best of her ability, with special attention given to all of the details of the work. She works hard to not only get things done, but to truly understand and comprehend the work and information. In addition she is a positive role model in her class who continually strives to treat others with respect. Great job Rachel and keep up the good work. Mr. Wilson, JH Math and Social Studies
  • Rachel is an outstanding band member. She is only in her second year of playing the flute, but is already playing with an ideal flute sound and has an excellent understanding of counting rhythms. Rachel’s high level of performance in band is no doubt a result of her maturity in class, her constant paying attention to all instruction, and regular practice. Rachel is the ideal band student and I am so glad she decided to be a part of our group! Congratulations! Mrs. Duhan, Band Director
  • Rachel does outstanding work in the art room. She is a polite student who follows instructions, asks great questions, and gives her best effort. Way to Go Rachel! Mrs. Goodwin, Art Teacher
  • Rachel does all the right things to be a successful student… she always attends class, pays attention, and puts her best effort into her work. She cares about the quality of what she produces, and she wants to learn as much as possible. The questions she asks are mature and thoughtful, which makes her a vital part of the class. She is revered by her classmates and should be proud to be such a positive role model. Ms. Wilson, Jr. High English
