Kim
The High School Academic Department selected Kim as Student of the Week for the following reasons:

  • I really appreciate Kim’s effort in English class. He always makes sure his work is accurate and turned in on time. In addition to participating positively in class discussions, Kim brings humor and kindness to the room. He is a very respectful young man, and I know he will be extremely successful in life. Great work, Kim! Ms. Wilson, English Teacher
  • Kim is a self-motivated student. Kim is always ready to help out other students with assignments. I often see Kim in the halls before school working on his assignments. Kim is consistent and reliable in class. Jeff Dickrell, History Teacher
  • Kim has an outstanding work ethic in and out of class. He is a talented mathematics student, an excellent role model, and someone with a good sense of humor. It is wonderful to have Kim in class this year. Chris Border, Math Teacher
  • Kim is an outstanding addition to our high school band this year. He is most respectful in rehearsal, and is extremely prepared. Most important, I do not have to repeat directions or corrects to Kim, he listens the first time around which will pay off ten fold down the road. I am sure we are going to see great things from Kim in the future. His first time auditioning for Regional Honor Band Kim got 1st alternate in the band against some very strong competition of about 20 trumpet players. I am thrilled he is a part of our outstanding trumpet section! Congratulations Kim, Ms. Duhan
