Bethany
The Junior High Department selected Bethany as Student of the Week for the following reasons:

  • Bethany Hladick’s work stands out in three arenas: quality of content, quality of effort, and quality of presentation. Her interest in the scientific endeavor is unsurpassed: she asks the questions, she muses on possible answers, she tests the possibilities, she makes reasoned and reasonable conclusions. But, more telling of things within, she is a young woman of character: she expresses consideration and kindness toward those about her. Bethany, you are choosing a path which truly makes life worth the living. Mr. Paden, Science Teacher
  • Bethany’s work ethic and drive to succeed are unmatched in both history and math. Bethany not only completes all that is assigned, but makes the extra effort to make sure that she understands the material to the best of her ability. Her inquisitiveness and desire to learn place her at the top of her class and there is no doubt that she will achieve all of the goals that she has set for herself. Great job Bethany and keep up the good work. Mr. Wilson, JH Math and Social Studies
  • Bethany isn’t just a good student; she is a wonderful person through and through. In class she is upbeat, respectful, and always on top of her work. Outside of class, she is very involved in activities – both for the mind, such as Battle of the Books and Future Problem Solvers, as well as for the body, such as swimming and basketball. She brings so much to the junior high – humor, patience, intelligence, and integrity. I’m thankful to have her in my class, every single day. Ms. Wilson, English Teacher
  • Bethany is a creative and enthusiastic student. She comes to class eager to soak up experiences and knowledge like a sponge and is unafraid to try something new. Bethany, keep looking for new ways to express yourself, and you will go far! Mrs. Goodwin, Art Teacher
