Medardo
The Junior High Department selected Medardo as Student of the Week for the following reasons:

• Medardo Maratas has begun to shine in his science studies. As he increases language fluency, he demonstrates his growing interest and ability in the things of science. He engages the activities that evince his learning: he studies hard, completes assignments in a timely manner, continues on task. He shows leadership among friends, helping them in their own studies as well. He serves as a role model for a young man on the way to intellectual pursuits. Way to go, Medardo! • Medardo continually works to the best of his ability in both social studies and math. He has become a leader with his peer group and is constantly encouraging and reminding others to do well. His progress from last year to this year is phenomenal and we at the junior high look forward to his continued hard work and leadership in our school. Great job Medardo and keep up the good work.
