Garret
The High School Performance Department selected Garret as Student of the Week for the following reasons:

  • Garret has been a dedicated and hard working member of the swim team these last two years since I arrived in Unalaska. He made outstanding improvements in his form, which cut times off both freestyle and backstroke. Garret impressed us all with his performance in butterfly as well. Great job on making All State Band and thanks for playing trombone for the star spangled banner at both the swim meets and volleyball tournament. On top of all that, Garret is the most flexible boy in the school, reaching over 10 inches past his toes. Congratulations Garret!! We will miss you next year. Ms. Musgrove, Swim Coach
  • Garret has been an outstanding student throughout his high school career. He is devoted to his studies, his future and his friends. He is a diligent worker, an honest citizen, and an outstanding member of our National Honor Society Chapter. Mr. Border, Math Teacher
  • Mr. Shaishnikoff has really come into his own this year on the trombone! He is playing with gusto and has the confidence I count on from the lead players in the band. Recently he has returned from participating in the Alaska All-State Band, a top honor for high school band players. Congratulations Garret on an outstanding start for your senior year! Mrs. Duhan, Band Director
