Alicia
The High School Performance Department selected Alicia as Student of the Week for the following reasons:

• Alicia is a leader in the art room. She completes work on time and puts careful thought into each assignment. She not only participates in class, but often spends many hours outside class. Her recent work for Aleutian Arts Council’s Project Dumpway earned her recognition for her efforts. Alicia is a pleasure to have in class! Ms. Goodwin, Art.
• Alicia is a pleasure to have in class. She is always kind and respectful of her peers and teachers. This year her flute playing is getting much stronger and her tone is developing into a wonderful flute sound. It is great having her as a member of our high school band! Congratulations! • Alicia works hard in Biology class and pays close attention to her assignments and evaluations. She is very consistent in her efforts and always is a delight to work with. Mr. Gregory, Science
• Alicia is a deep thinker about the class subject. Alicia is one of the few students who researches subject that interest her, outside of class. Mr. Dickrell, Social Sciences.
