Kyle
The High School Performance Department selected Kyle as Student of the Week for the following reasons:

  • Kyle has made extraordinary progress in band this year. Hehas worked very hard on his tests, and as a result has expanded his playing range by more than one octave. Recently Kyle has displayed his impressive skills at playing music by ear. Working with Vinnie James, he led the flute section with an improvised composition. Kyle is an exemplary student, who treats all fellow students with respect and kindness. It is an honor having such a student in class. Congratulations Kyle! Mrs. Duhan, Band Director
  • Kyle is a fantastic student with limitless energy and potential. He always is prepared for class and attempts to do his best, giving 100% effort on his participation, assignments and evaluations.   • Kyle is an outstanding all-round student. He is consistent in behavior, attitudes and work - all of which are very positive. He takes his education seriously, and demonstrates his high standards every day on tests, homework, and quizzes. Keep up the great work! - Mr. Border, Algebra Teacher
  • It is an honor and privilege to support Kyle as student of the week. Kyle is both a hard working, motivated student and an exemplary role model for his peers. He is a natural leader. Kyle applies himself and strives for excellence in all that he does, both in the classroom and out. He can be counted on to go above and beyond expectations when completing assignments and projects, and he is becoming a fine writer. It's not unusual to find Kyle helping other students and encouraging them to succeed and do their best. Well Done Kyle! Keep up the good work! Mr. Sweenhart, Language Arts Teacher
