Bethany
The Junior High Department selected Bethany as Student of the Week for the following reasons:

  • Bethany is an outstanding student who continually works to the best of her ability to be an exemplary student. Her attention to detail on assignments is commendable as are her questioning skills in class. Bethany looks to challenge herself and to get the most out of every day. Great job Bethany and keep up the great work. Mr. Wilson, Social Studies Teacher
  • Bethany Hladick puts her mind to the tasks of science. She sees a problem and asks questions. She's not willing to just let a problem sit still: she thinks of a possible answer and then figures out a way to solve the problem to see how close her thinking was to the reality. She finds excitement in the details of life! Press on, Bethany! Mr. Paden, Science Teacher
  • Bethany has been doing an outstanding job in band. Part way through this school year, Bethany switched to french horn from trombone, and she has taken to playing this very difficult instrument, with apparent ease. I am extremely impressed with her progress, and she is quite a natural brass player. Bethany understands the discipline it takes to become a good instrumentalist, and she practices regularly in order to reach her goals. To top all this off, Bethany is a wonderful person to be around! Congratulations Bethany! Mrs. Duhan, Band Director
  • Bethany is an awesome student and a pleasure to have in class. She is always attentive, motivated, and curious to learn. When completing her assignments, she continually goes above and beyond expectations. Not only is Bethany a wonderful student, but she is also a positive example for her peers, both in and out of the classroom. Way to go, Bethany! Mr. Sweenhart, Language Arts
  • Bethany has excellent qualities as a student, she studies hard and goes above and beyond what is required. Bethany keep up the good work and keep smiling. Mr. Haskins, Voc. Ed
