The Principal's Pick for Student of the Week was Felipe for the following reasons:

• Felipe Lekanoff is a hard-working student who has succeeded in making the transition into high school this year. Felipe's positive attitude, politeness towards others, and friendly smile make him a role model for all students. Felipe will certainly take advantage of all high school has to offer and will learn much. Keep up the good work, Felipe! Mr. Conwell, Principal
• Felipe is an extremely hard working and dedicated student. His excellent attendance, ability to meet assignment deadlines and accept criticism constructively will continue to allow Felipe to be successful in his academic career and beyond! Whether in the classroom, on the basketball court or in the hallways of our school, Felipe does his best with a smile and positive attitude. Mr. Gregory, Science Teacher
• Felipe is a well behaved, solid student. I have seen him grow in classroom skills, test taking and personally in the last semester. Mr. Dickrell, Social Studies Teacher
• Felipe has made consistent improvements in his fitness level since the beginning of the school year. He achieved Presidential physical fitness levels in 5 out of 6 areas.
