Dong
The Junior High Department selected Dong as Student of the Week for the following reasons:

• Dong came to our school mid-year and has not missed a beat. He is diligent in his studies, respectful to his classmates, asks thought-provoking questions and is dedicated to becoming a better student and person. Great job Dong and keep up the good work. • Dong is a pleasure to have in English Class. He is super-focused, extremely motivated, and very polite. Dong goes above and beyond expectations on each assignment, and he is a positive example to his peers. Well Done, Dong! Mr. Sweenhart, Language Arts Teacher
• Once in a great while, a student focuses with singleness of mind on his studies, turning neither to the right nor to the left. Regardless of the distractions. Such a student is Dong. His work in science stands as a remarkable example to his peers. The learning Dong gains, not only in the information he gathers, but particularly in the methods he uses, will serve him throughout his life. Scientists are made, not born.
