The High School Academic Department selected Andrew as Student of the Week for the following reasons:

• Andrew brings a unique perspective, sense of humor and an acute sense of reality to class. Jeff Dickrell, History Teacher
• Andrew has shown a thoroughly admirable willingness to step outside of his comfort zone this year by trying new activities like: running in a triathlon, joining the swim team, and playing guitar and singing a self-composed song at a recent coffeehouse. Last--but certainly not least--Andrew has really stepped up his effort and commitment to becoming a better writer, and in the process, has added greatly to his academic skill set. His "can do" attitude is refreshing and is paying off on all fronts! Shawna Rudio, English Teacher
• Andrew is working really hard in his Spanish class. He is very kind and has incredible sense of humor. Andrew always finishes his assignments on time. We will miss you next year, Andrew. Mrs.Roraback, Spanish teacher
• Since Andrew's arrival two years ago, he has proved to be an outstanding member of our basketball team, school community and community at large. He has not only put in the necessary time to make himself a better basketball player, but he has also put in the time to become a role model for younger children in our community through his volunteer efforts and positive decision making.
