The Junior High Department selected Catina as Student of the Week for the following reasons:

• Through hard work and a dedication to her studies, Catina has transformed herself into an outstanding student. Her daily work is outstanding and her comments and questions in class are detailed and well thought out. Great job Catina and keep up the good work. Mr. Wilson, American History
• You can see Catina improving her efforts and her work almost on a week by week basis. It's evident she intends to take her studies to "the next level." She produces thoughtful answers to problems in math and science even when the particular problem is not personally interesting to her. You have a lot to offer, Catina! Mr. Paden, Science
