Doanh
The High School Performance Department selected Doanh as Student of the Week for the following reasons:

• Doanh has shown exceptional growth not only in academic ways, but in her personal maturity level. She has taken on numerous responsibilities this year and excelled in every way. Recently, she has written several articles for the Dutch Harbor Fisherman, which were above and beyond her duties as a member of the Our Times school newspaper staff. Doanh is an excellent role model for any student who aspires to take charge of his or her future. Mrs. Goodwin, Journalism Teacher
• Doanh has done her very best this year to excel in Algebra. She is a consistent worker, asks good questions, and has a great attitude. Congratulations Doanh! Mr. Border, Math Teacher
  
• Doanh continually works to the best of her ability in World History and shows an understanding of concepts and ideas far beyond her years. • Doanh has really made an increased effort to improve her learning and understanding of the concepts of Biology. Doanh takes time to ask questions and seeks comments and criticism from her teacher to improve her mastery of the subject and raise her grade. Doanh has also been very active in extracurricular activities in which she gives all of her effort and seemingly limitless energy! Mr. Gregory, Science Teacher
