Kyle
The Principal's Pick for Student of the Week was Kyle for the following
reasons:
- Kyle Haskins earned the distinction of representing Unalaska City
School at not one, but two prestigious state academic competitions:
the Geography Bee and the Science and Technology Fair. As an eighth
grade student, Kyle has demonstrated a remarkable seriousness toward
his academic and athletic development. We expect great things from Kyle
as a high school student. Congratulations Kyle, and keep up the good
work! John Conwell, Principal
- Kyle is a hard working student who consistently exceeds expectations.
He does careful work and pays attention to details. Furthermore, he
is a gentleman. His polite, courteous demeanor makes him a joy to teach.
Great choice for student of the week. Ken Sweenhart, English
- Kyle is an outstanding student who goes above and beyond what is required
to better himself. In addition to being at the top of his class in both
math and social studies, Kyle was also our school representative at
the state competition for the National Geography Bee. Great job Kyle
and keep up the good work. Mr. Wilson, Math and Social Studies
