Garret
The Principal's Pick for Student of the Week is Garret for the following reasons:

  • Garret is a great band member. He practices on a regular basis and is respectful in class. Recently, Mr. Shaishnikoff scored the second highest audition tape in the Regional Honor Band auditions, and since he is a freshman that is quite an accomplishment. Garret has a bright future ahead of him with his trombone. Congratulations Garret! Mrs. Duhan, Band
  • Garrett is the kind of student every teacher would like to have in class. Garrett always gives his best effort, he is consistently prepared for class and has excellent attendance. Garrett also displays exceptional citizenship while at school through his positive and helpful attitude towards his teachers, staff members and peers. Congratulations Garrett and keep up the great work! Mr. Gregory, Science
  • Garret has consistently maintained superior work ethics in my English class. I appreciate his desire to perform at the best of his ability, and his wonderfully polite demeanor. He is certainly a role model for those around him! Garret possesses the qualities necessary to excel with his academic journey, as he has established a strong foundation to further build upon. He is incredibly diligent with his studies, and takes pride in quality performance. Way to go Garret!! Mrs. Nellis, Language Arts
  • Garret has performed well in welding class. He always is attentive in class and tries to do things right and safely. Keep up the good work, Garret. Mr. Haskins, Voc. Ed.
  • Garret is a responsible and serious young man who makes his education a top priority. I often forget that Garret is only a freshman this year. His maturity and dedication to doing his best in all of his classes is rare in a student his age. Garret is polite, respectful, and has a great work ethic. He balances his academic pursuits with his participation in band and NYO. We expect great things in the future from Garret! -Mr. Conwell, Principal
