Shun
The Junior High School Department selected Shun as Student of the Week for the following reasons:

• Shun Kanezaki is our selection as junior high student of the week due to his outstanding achievements in school and his continual dedication to becoming the best that he can be. Shun's intellect, inquisitiveness, and enthusiasm for class all help to make him a true asset to Unalaska City School District. He is continually at the top of his class in both math and social studies. In addition he has showen a wonderful ability to push both himself and his classmates to achieve at higher levels. • Shun is an incredibly driven, and diligent student in my 7th grade English class. He strives to produce the highest quality of work on a consistent basis. He has superior work ethics, and certainly possesses respect, courtesy, and a great sense of humor! It is wonderful to have such a motivated individual that continues to inspire those around him. Shun has made a fabulous transition into middle school, and has created a nice foundation for success throughout his academic journey. Way to go Shun!!!! Mrs. Nellis, Language Arts
