Monica
The department selected who as Student of the Week for the following reasons:

• Monica has been a conscientious and diligent worker in the art room, taking chances and challenging herself to improve with each assignment. She recently won 1st place in Painting and 2nd place in Drawing at the NOSB Ocean Connections Art Show in Seward. She is also a leader in fundraising activities for the Art Club and plans to travel with them to Europe this summer. Way to Go Monica! Mrs. Goodwin, Art Teacher
• Monica Southworth is an outstanding student and a vital member of our high school band. Ms. Southworth practices on a regular basis, sets goals for herself, and works above and beyond what is required in class. She recently earned the scored highest for Honor Band flute auditions for Region II and was awarded 1st chair. Congratulations Monica! Mrs. Duhan
