Mika
The High School Performance Department selected Mika as Student of the Week for the following reasons:

• Mika is doing a superior job in Woods 1, paying close attention to detail and craftsmenship. Mika is clearly trying to get the most out of her High School experience. Keep up the Good work class. Alan Haskins, Voc. Ed Teacher
• Mika is working hard in basketball, improving in many area's and keeping a positive attitude. Way to go Mika. Alan Haskins, Basketball Coach
• Mika is an outstanding student in the high school band. Miss Machalek plays mallet percussion and is a vital member of the section. Mika not only learns her performance tests to perfection, but memorizes them as well. In making her regional audition tapes, she was determined to get a perfect recording and came in several times after school to make sure she did her best. Her dedication to quality work is exemplary.
