The 5th and 6th grade department nominates Shelby as this week's student of the week.

• Shelby handles herself responsibly in social interactions with her classmates and staff. She is respectful, kind, and cheerful. She has a great sense of humor.
• Shelby has shown outstanding growth this year in all academic areas. She has dedicated countless hours to her studies and stands out as a role model for her peers in this area. She has taken responsibility for her learning and keeps working until she has done her job and done it well.
• Shelby has demonstrated what it truly means to be a student-- she is someone who sees struggle not as a hardship, but as an opportunity for personal development.
