Jake
The Principal's Pick for Student of the Week is Jake for the following
reasons:
- Jake is a motivated 8th grader who this year won both the Geography
Bee and Spelling Bee. Jake consistently exhibits good sportsmanship
in these academic extracurricular achievements. Best of luck to Jake
at the Anchorage Spelling Bee next week! Mr. Conwell
- Jake excells in both math and social studies. He makes excellent use
of his time and resources both inside and outside of the classroom.
Jake's ability to answer and ask questions contributes greatly to class
discussion and his input is greatly valued within our classroom. Great
job Jake and keep up the good work! Mr. Wilson
- Jake completes his assignments in a timely manner and with competence.
He demonstrates his understanding of science concepts not only by considering
appropriate questions and thinking through the responses, but by his
willingness to help other students in their own understanding as well.
Jake, furthermore, has an engaging sense of humor that helps when things
seem rather "dry." I wish you well in your studies, Jake!
Mr. Paden
- Jake is certainly a wonderful pick! He definitely performs at a quality
level in my class. He is quite helpful with other students and participates
in all classroom activities. Mrs. Nellis
