Heather
The Junior High Department proudly nominates Heather as student of the week for the following reasons:

• Heather takes her studies seriously and seeks to make the most of her opportunities to learn. In class she expresses respect for her fellow students and for her teachers, serving as a very fine model in this regard. She is thoughtful in her responses to science questions, not willing to speak simply to be heard; in consequence, her contributions to discussions are on target and thought provoking. Keep asking questions, Heather, and you'll benefit greatly throughout your schooling career! Mr. Paden
• Heather is an absolutely delightful addition to the 8th grade class! She displays a persona that is courteous, polite, and respectful at all times. She is 100% dedicated to her studies. Her attitude is consistently positive, which certainly affects the energy in the classroom! Kudos to such a remarkable young role model!! Mrs. Nellis
• Heather is an outstanding student who not only knows what it takes to be a great student, but equally important knows what it takes to be a great person. The work ethic and personal qualities that she has displayed this year help to make her one of our school's finest. Great job Heather!"
