Monica
The High School Performance Department proudly nominates Monica as student of the week for the following reasons:

Monica regularly practices the flute outside of class preparing for solo and duet tunes. In band rehearsals, she demonstrates a great attitude and courtesy. Her work ethic paid off because she was chosen to play for the Region II Honor Band in Valdez. The flute audition is among the most competitive ones for the Honor Band. I am very happy to see her overall improvement in music.

Monica goes above and beyond the call of classroom work and homework. She is a delight to have in class.
