was selected as the High School Academic Department's Student of the Week for the following reasons:

• Roman is self-responsible, creative force. He is quiet but thoughtful. - Jeff Dickrell, History Teacher
• Roman works hard every day in class to complete the assignment. His effort is reflected in his grades. Roman consistently exceeds expectations for academic performance and attitude. - Chris Border, Math Teacher
• Since he has come to Unalaska School, Roman has progressed from being a good student to an excellent one. The high quality of his work shows that he spends a great deal of time out of class thinking about his assignments, and he always has something thoughtful and interesting to say in his writing.
