A Message From the Principal Dear Eagle’s View Families, Yes, it’s that time of the year again. As your new principal I’d like to welcome you to the 2010-2011 school year. All of us at Eagle’s View Elementary School are very excited about school starting. We truly expect this to be a great year filled with academic excellence and personal growth for each student. The first day of school is Tuesday, August 24th, 2010, for all kindergarten through 12th grade students. The first day for Pre-school (3 year-olds) is Thursday, August 26th, and the first day for Pre-kindergarten (4 year-olds) is Friday, August 27th. We look forward to seeing both returning and new students! Be sure and mark your calendar for our Back to School Orientation to be held Wednesday, September 8th at 6:00 PM at Eagle’s View Elementary and at 7:00 PM at Unalaska City School. This is a great time to meet your child’s teacher and find out about what your child will be learning this year. Unalaska City School District is a student, family and community oriented district. It is a pleasure to be joining a team of talented and dedicated staff, supportive and caring families, and hardworking and eager students. Again, welcome back to school.
