Biography of Ms. Nielsen
	This is Ms. Nielsen's third year teaching at Unalaska City School District. Prior to teaching in this district, she taught in Anchorage and on the Kenai Peninsula. Ms. Nielsen comes from a family of teachers and has lived in Alaska all her life, she grew up in Anchorage and later moved to Soldonta. Kristi enjoys reading, blueberry picking, hiking and fishing. She came to Unalaska in January of 2001 with the intention of checking out the city and the school district. At first she worked for Alyeska Seafoods. Little did she know that she would grow to love the island and its people. Kristi says " I count myself lucky to have been able to become a part of this community and the school district."
